Antique Pewter Effect Silver Hearth Tidy Set with Brush & Shovel – Steel Fireplace Cleaning Set 37x14x10cm

Keep your hearth neat while adding traditional metallic character to your fireside with our Antique Pewter Effect Silver Hearth Tidy Set with Brush & Shovel. Handcrafted from steel with an antique pewter-effect silver finish, this two-piece set combines a practical fireplace brush and matching shovel in a design attractive enough to keep beside the hearth between uses.

Measuring H37 × W14 × D10cm overall and weighing approximately 1.20kg, the set provides a convenient way to deal with ash, dust and small debris around the hearth without taking up unnecessary space. Decorative handles and an aged silver tone give the tools more character than everyday cleaning equipment, making them particularly well suited to open fireplaces, wood-burning stove settings and traditionally styled firesides.

Two-Piece Hearth Tidy Brush & Shovel Set

The set comprises one hand brush and one matching shovel, giving you the two essential tools for routine tidying around the fireplace. Once the hearth and debris are cool, use the brush to sweep loose ash, dust and small debris into the shovel, helping to keep the surrounding area clean and cared for between fires.

The brush sits neatly with the shovel when stored together, while a loop at the end of each decorative handle provides the option of hanging the tools from suitable hooks. This gives you flexibility to position the set beside the fireplace or store it above the hearth where appropriate.

Antique Pewter Effect Silver Finish

The steel is finished in a silver colour with an antique pewter effect, creating a softly aged appearance rather than the bright, highly polished look associated with chrome. The result works particularly well with stone, brick, tiled and painted fireplace surrounds and can complement both traditional and more contemporary neutral interiors.

The muted metallic tone also coordinates easily with black, charcoal, bronze, copper and other aged-metal fireside accessories, allowing you to mix finishes rather than having every piece around the hearth match exactly.

Handcrafted Steel Construction

Made from steel, both pieces combine practical construction with decorative shaped handles that give the set its distinctive traditional character. The shovel features raised sides to help contain ash and small debris as it is swept up, while the brush is shaped to sit neatly with it when the tools are stored together.

Space-Saving Alternative to a Companion Set

With overall dimensions of H37 × W14 × D10cm, this hearth tidy set is a useful choice when you want dedicated fireplace cleaning tools without the additional poker, tongs and other implements supplied with a larger companion set. Its relatively small footprint also leaves more room beside the hearth for log storage, a coal bucket or other fireside accessories.

Is This the Right Fireplace Cleaning Set for Me?

This two-piece set is designed for customers looking specifically for a brush and shovel for routine hearth cleaning. It does not replace a full companion set if you also require fireplace tools such as a poker or fire tongs. Before ordering, check the H37 × W14 × D10cm overall dimensions against the space available beside your fireplace or wood-burning stove, particularly if you already have log storage, a coal bucket or other accessories nearby.

Using Your Hearth Tidy Set

Use the brush and shovel for routine tidying around the hearth once ash and debris are cool. Do not use the brush on flames, burning fuel, hot embers or hot ash. Always use fireside accessories appropriately for your individual fireplace or stove and follow any guidance provided with them.
