What Does IP44 Mean?

The lamp is IP44 rated for outdoor use, providing protection against splashing water from different directions and against solid objects larger than 1mm. This recognised rating makes it suitable for normal outdoor use while providing a clear indication of its level of protection.

IP44 does not mean the lamp can be submerged, pressure-washed or left standing in water. Charging the lamp indoors and bringing it inside during severe weather or when it is not required for extended periods will help protect it.
