Large Ornate Black Metal Firescreen with Scrollwork – Decorative Fire Guard 75x85x2cm

Bring traditional character and decorative detail to your fireplace with our Large Ornate Black Metal Firescreen with Scrollwork. Measuring 75cm high and 85cm wide, this substantial design combines sweeping metal scrollwork with a timeless black finish, creating a striking feature for the hearth that is easy to coordinate with existing fireside accessories.

Curved detailing gives the screen its distinctive ornate character, while the versatile black finish works beautifully alongside black, pewter, bronze and copper-toned pieces. It also complements a wide range of stone, brick, tiled and painted fireplace surrounds, making it a versatile choice for both established and newly styled interiors.

Large 85cm Wide Firescreen

Generously proportioned at H75 × W85 × D2cm, this firescreen has the scale to create a noticeable feature in front of the hearth. Weighing approximately 5.82kg, it is a substantial metal piece rather than a lightweight decorative accessory, while its slim screen depth keeps the overall profile streamlined.

Black Metal Construction

Crafted from metal, the screen combines a substantial construction with decorative detailing designed to remain visible as part of your interior. The all-black finish defines the elaborate scrollwork while remaining easy to coordinate with other materials, colours and metallic finishes around the room.

Ornate Scrollwork with Traditional Character

Sweeping curves and decorative scrollwork give this design its distinctive appearance. Its traditional influence works particularly well in period-inspired, rustic and modern-country interiors, while the restrained black finish can provide decorative contrast within more contemporary schemes. When the fireplace is not in use, the screen continues to add visual interest and gives the hearth a more finished appearance.

Style Your Fireside

Create a coordinated setting by pairing the screen with companion sets, coal buckets, log or kindling storage and hearth tidy sets. Black metal also works well alongside contrasting pewter, bronze and copper finishes, so your accessories do not need to match exactly to create a considered look.

Will This Firescreen Fit My Fireplace?

Fireplaces and hearths vary considerably in size, so we recommend measuring your intended position before ordering. Allow for the 85cm overall width and 75cm height, together with any companion set, log storage or other accessories positioned nearby. Checking these measurements against your available space will give you a much better indication of scale than product photography alone.
