Elegant and timeless, this small bulbous Jenny Worrall glass table lamp base features a delicate butterfly design set against a distressed gold and off-white painted background. Each piece is handcrafted using the traditional potichomania technique, where butterfly decals are applied by hand inside the glass before being built up with layers of hand-sponged lustre and colour. The result is a richly layered finish with depth, warmth and an unmistakable artisan touch. Taking 24 hours to complete, every lamp is a true testament to skilled artistry.

The design showcases a variety of dainty butterflies in soft shades of cream, pale yellow, warm brown, blue and muted orange, their wings detailed with fine veining and subtle shading for a lifelike appearance. The distressed gold tones add a gentle shimmer, enhancing the sense of movement and lightness, while complementing the soft off-white base for an elegant, nature-inspired aesthetic.

Completing the design, the rounded bulbous glass form rests on antique brass feet with a matching top collar, offering a warm contrast to the body’s cream and gold tones.
