Black Log & Kindling Buckets with Matchstick Holder – 3 Piece Metal Fireside Set with Cut-Out Lettering

Keep logs, kindling and long fireside matches neatly organised beside your fireplace or log burner with our Black Log & Kindling Buckets with Matchstick Holder – 3 Piece Metal Fireside Set with Cut-Out Lettering. Handcrafted from metal with a classic black finish, this coordinated three-piece fireside storage set combines dedicated log and kindling storage with a matching holder for long fireside matches, bringing practical organisation and distinctive cut-out detailing to the hearth.

The set includes a large log bucket, a smaller matching kindling bucket and a tall cylindrical matchstick holder complete with long fireside matches. Each piece has been designed for its own fireside essential, helping keep everything needed to prepare and maintain your fire together in one coordinated arrangement rather than stored separately around the room.

Three Coordinating Fireside Storage Pieces

The largest bucket measures H30 × W33 × D33cm and is designed for storing logs ready for the fire. Bold cut-out LOGS lettering runs across the front, while a deep curved opening provides easy access to the contents. Cut-out side handles formed into the metal provide convenient grip points when the bucket needs to be repositioned.

The smaller coordinating bucket measures H21 × W23 × D23cm and is designed for kindling. It carries matching cut-out KINDLING lettering and maintains the same black metal construction, deep curved front opening and cut-out side handles for a consistent appearance across the set.

Completing the set is a tall cylindrical holder for long fireside matches, measuring approximately H24 × W7 × D7cm including the matches. Vertical cut-out MATCHES lettering continues the coordinated design, while the open top keeps the long matches conveniently accessible when preparing to light the fire.

Distinctive Cut-Out Lettering

Rather than relying on printed labels, each piece incorporates its wording directly into the metalwork. The LOGS and KINDLING lettering creates a bold graphic detail across the front of the two buckets, while MATCHES runs vertically down the coordinating matchstick holder.

The cut-out construction gives the lettering greater depth and definition than a surface-applied design, allowing the contents and changing light behind the metal to subtly influence its appearance. It is a particularly effective detail against the understated black finish and gives the three pieces a recognisable coordinated identity.

Classic Black Metal Finish

Handcrafted from metal, the entire set is finished in black for a versatile appearance that works naturally alongside fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, log burners, firescreens, companion sets and other black fireplace accessories.

The restrained colouring allows the distinctive shapes and cut-out lettering to provide the decorative interest. Its black finish makes the set particularly easy to incorporate into contemporary interiors, while the simple metal construction and practical fireside purpose also sit comfortably beside traditional fireplaces, country hearths and rustic schemes.

For homes already featuring black fireplace surrounds or a black wood-burning stove, the set provides coordinating log storage without introducing another contrasting metal finish. It can equally provide a darker accent against stone, brick, tiled and lighter-coloured hearths.

As a handcrafted metal fireside accessory, subtle variations and small surface characteristics may be present and form part of its individual appearance rather than making every piece look mechanically identical.

Designed for Logs, Kindling & Long Fireside Matches

Keeping different fireside essentials organised can make preparing a real fire considerably easier. The larger bucket provides a dedicated place for logs, while the smaller bucket keeps kindling separate and readily accessible when starting the fire. The coordinating matchstick holder keeps long matches upright and close at hand, bringing all three essentials together beside the hearth.

The generous curved openings on the two buckets also make their contents easier to reach without having to lift a lid. Their open-top construction means logs and kindling remain visible, so it is easy to see when supplies need replenishing.

Where Can I Use This Fireside Set?

Designed for indoor fireside storage, the three-piece set can be positioned beside an open fireplace, wood-burning stove or log burner where suitable hearth space is available. Its separate construction means the pieces do not need to be arranged in a fixed configuration, making the set suitable for fireplaces of different sizes and layouts.

The black finish is particularly versatile around the hearth, pairing naturally with black stoves and fireplace fittings while providing contrast against stone, brick and lighter hearth materials. Always maintain an appropriate safe distance from flames, sparks and excessive heat.

What's Included?

• 1 × large black metal log bucket with LOGS cut-out lettering – H30 × W33 × D33cm
• 1 × smaller black metal kindling bucket with KINDLING cut-out lettering – H21 × W23 × D23cm
• 1 × black metal matchstick holder with MATCHES cut-out lettering – approximately H24 × W7 × D7cm including matches

How Large Is Each Piece?

The three pieces are deliberately different in size to suit their individual fireside uses. The large LOGS bucket measures H30 × W33 × D33cm, providing the most substantial storage capacity within the set. The smaller KINDLING bucket measures H21 × W23 × D23cm, while the slim MATCHES holder measures approximately H24 × W7 × D7cm including the long matches.

Because the three pieces are separate rather than attached to a single stand or frame, there is no fixed overall footprint. They can be grouped together beside the fireplace or positioned individually to make the best use of the available hearth space.

Will the Three Pieces Need to Be Kept Together?

No. Although designed as a coordinated three-piece fireside set, each item is separate, so you can arrange them to suit your fireplace and available space. Keep all three together for a coordinated display, position the log and kindling buckets either side of the hearth, or place the slim matchstick holder wherever it is easiest to reach safely when lighting the fire.

This flexibility is particularly useful where space immediately beside the fireplace is limited, as there is no fixed frame or stand requiring all three pieces to occupy one footprint.

Care & Fireside Safety

Wipe the metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth as required and avoid abrasive cleaners that could affect the black finish. The buckets are intended for storing suitable dry logs and kindling beside the hearth rather than for holding hot ash, burning material or freshly removed embers.

Always position fireside storage at a sensible distance from open flames, excessive heat and sparks. Matches should be kept safely away from children and babies and stored responsibly when not in use.

Practical fireside storage does not have to look purely utilitarian. With three dedicated pieces, a versatile black metal finish and distinctive cut-out lettering, this coordinated set keeps logs, kindling and long fireside matches organised while adding strong graphic detail beside the fireplace throughout the colder months.
