Black Bobbled Fibrestone Planter with Rolled Rim & Raised Textured Detail – Decorative Indoor Plant Pot 29x32x32cm

Bring sculptural shape, deep black colour and rich surface texture to your interior with our Black Bobbled Fibrestone Planter with Rolled Rim & Raised Textured Detail. Measuring H29 × W32 × D32cm, this decorative indoor plant pot combines a rounded bulbous body with a substantial rolled rim, horizontal bands of raised bobble detailing and an intricately textured stone-effect surface.

The black finish gives the planter a strong decorative presence, while subtle charcoal tones and lighter weathered detailing accentuate the irregular surface rather than creating a completely flat, uniform colour. Hundreds of small impressed circular marks cover the body between the raised bands, allowing light and shadow to pick out the detail. Filled with greenery, the dark finish creates particularly striking contrast against the leaves of an artificial plant or smaller faux tree.

Made from 100% fibrestone, the planter delivers the substantial appearance and character of a stone-style design without the weight of solid stone. At approximately 4kg, it remains relatively manageable when positioning or restyling around your interior. The fibrestone construction works particularly well with the richly detailed finish, allowing the raised bobbled bands, impressed circular markings and softly irregular surface to create convincing depth and texture.

A Black Planter with Raised Bobbled Detail

The defining feature of this planter is its highly tactile exterior. Raised horizontal bands wrap around the rounded body, punctuated by irregular bobble-like forms that project from the surface. Between them, hundreds of small impressed circular marks create another layer of detail, while lighter highlights within the black finish make the pattern more visible across the planter.

A thick rolled rim frames the wide opening and gives the upper edge a substantial finish. The body gently widens through the middle before narrowing towards the base, creating a softly rounded bulbous profile that complements the irregular detailing. Rather than appearing perfectly smooth or uniform, the combination of raised, impressed and weathered elements gives the planter its distinctive stone-effect character.

How Big Is This Black Fibrestone Planter?

At H29 × W32 × D32cm, this is the smaller planter in the coordinating black bobbled range. Its compact proportions make it versatile enough for positioning on suitably sized console tables, sideboards and other substantial surfaces, while it can also be displayed on the floor where a larger planter would take up too much space.

The opening at the top measures approximately 28cm across, providing useful space for styling an artificial plant, decorative foliage arrangement or appropriately sized faux tree. This measurement is particularly useful when choosing an inner pot or container to sit inside the planter, so we recommend checking both the width of your chosen container and the available internal space before purchasing.

If you love the design but need something with greater scale, it is also available as our Large Black Bobbled Fibrestone Planter 39x42x42cm. Displaying the two sizes together is an effective way to repeat the same distinctive black finish and raised detailing at different heights and proportions.

What Can I Put Inside This Decorative Planter?

This planter is designed for decorative indoor use and is not waterproof. We recommend styling it with an artificial plant, artificial tree or decorative foliage arrangement, avoiding the need to introduce water directly into the fibrestone planter.

If you are considering using it with a live plant, the fibrestone planter itself must not be filled directly with water. Any live plant would need to remain completely contained within its own suitable waterproof inner pot, with care taken to ensure moisture cannot come into contact with the fibrestone. Always check the dimensions of your chosen inner container against the approximately 28cm top opening and the available internal space inside the planter before purchasing.

Its 32cm width provides a substantial visual base for compact and medium-sized artificial plants, while the 29cm height allows plenty of the decorative surface to remain visible beneath the foliage. Depending on the size of the inner pot, discreet internal packing or a suitable riser can be used to adjust the finished planting height while remaining hidden from view.

Where Can I Display This Indoor Plant Pot?

Its H29 × W32 × D32cm proportions make this a particularly versatile decorative planter for living rooms, dining spaces, hallways, bedrooms, home offices and other indoor areas. Position it on a suitably sized console table or sideboard, use it as a floor planter beside furniture, or introduce it to an empty corner where greenery and sculptural texture can add interest without requiring the scale of a larger planter.

The black colourway works particularly well where you want to introduce depth and contrast. Against cream, beige, taupe and other pale neutral tones, its dark profile becomes a strong decorative feature, while black furniture, frames, lighting or architectural details can help repeat the colour elsewhere in the room. Natural wood, stone-effect finishes and green foliage provide further contrast against the dark textured surface.

Also Available in Cream

Prefer a softer, warmer finish? This same bobbled design is also available in cream. Choose our Cream Bobbled Fibrestone Planter 29x32x32cm for the same compact proportions in a warm neutral colourway, or our Large Cream Bobbled Fibrestone Planter 39x42x42cm where a more substantial size is better suited to your space.

The coordinating black and cream planters make it possible to keep the same distinctive rolled rim and raised bobbled detailing while choosing the size and colour that best suits your interior. Use matching colourways for consistency, combine the smaller and larger sizes for variation in height, or mix black and cream to create contrast across a larger room.
