Artificial Multi-Tonal Blue Multi-Bloom Hydrangea Stem

This voluminous artificial blue multi-bloom hydrangea, featuring five blooms of multi-tonal petals per stem, makes a lovely focal flower in contemporary floral arrangements.

Hydrangeas are usually in flower from late summer to early autumn, and with faux flowers you can enjoy this Hydrangea in your home all year round.

For a classic look, add an odd number of stems to your vase of choice: 3-7 stems will likely suffice due to the multiple blooms, depending on the vase neck width, bloom width, and desired look. For a more varied arrangement, add foliage and/or filler flowers (stems with smaller blooms so they don’t overshadow your focal flower, or a stem or spray with a cluster of small flowers such as blossom). If your arrangement is being placed where it can be viewed from all angles, you may need at least double the number of stems. Alternatively, a few, or just the one stem, looks charming in a narrow neck vase.

This artificial hydrangea has a stem length of 47cm, and a bloom width of 23cm. For tall arrangements, your flower stems should be around 1.5x the height of their container, so you'd need a vase that's approximately 35cm in height. For low arrangements, that rule is reversed, requiring a vase around 71cm in height. You can trim your stems to fit into a smaller vase, or bend them if your vase is opaque and you'd prefer not to permanently shorten them. If you need to add some height, use glass beads or stones (which can also hide your stems); and if your vase is opaque, something as simple as scrunched up newspaper will do the trick (and no one will be any the wiser!)
