For a classic look, add an odd number of stems to your vase of choice: 3-7 stems will likely suffice due to the multiple blooms, depending on your vase neck width, bloom diameter, and placement. For a fuller arrangement add foliage and/or filler flowers (stems with smaller blooms so they don’t overshadow your focal flower, or a stem with a cluster of small flowers such as blossom). If your arrangement is being placed where it can be viewed from all angles, you may need at least double the number of stems. Alternatively, a few, or just the one stem, looks lovely in a narrow neck vase.

This faux hydrangea has a stem length of 47cm, and a bloom width of 23cm. Selecting the right vase depends on the type of arrangement you're creating. For tall arrangements, your stems and vase should be in a ratio of approximately 1.5:1, so for this stem, you'd need a vase that's approximately 35cm in height. For low arrangements, that ratio is reversed, so you'd need a 71cm tall vase. You can cut your stems to fit a smaller vase, or bend them if your vase is opaque.
